What to expect

Expert Talks

At the axes4 Day, experienced experts share their knowledge around digital accessibility, AI, and modern document processes. From the legal requirements under the European Accessibility Act (EAA) to accessible PDFs, Word, and PowerPoint documents, right through to the latest developments from research and practice, you gain well-founded insights that you can take straight into your everyday work. Concrete, up to date, and always close to implementation.

Interactive Seminar Sessions

Listening is good, trying it out yourself is even better. In our interactive sessions, you work together with other participants on concrete questions, exchange experiences, and get to know tools and methods that move you forward. Bring your own challenges and go home with tried-and-tested solutions.

Networking

The axes4 Day thrives on the people who come together. During the breaks and in shared conversations, you meet experts, companies, representatives from public administration, and the accessibility community. This is where new contacts, good conversations, and sometimes the ideas that truly advance accessibility come to life.

axes4 Day 2026 in review

axes4 Day 2026 brought together over 150 participants from business, public administration and the digital sector, both on site in Berlin and via livestream. Among them were the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Germany's Federal Employment Agency), Telekom MMS and adesso SE, the latter also our main sponsor. 18 speakers took to the stage and spent a full day sharing knowledge, hands-on experience and fresh ideas around digital accessibility. From the legal requirements under the EAA to accessible PDF forms and the potential of AI in accessible document workflows, the full breadth of the topic was covered. And it is exactly this mix of expertise, practice and personal connection that we will make possible again in 2027.
